Welcome to Murugappa Water Technology & Solutions Pvt Ltd (MWTS). By purchasing our water purifiers, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

2. Definitions

• Company: Refers to Murugappa Water Technology & Solutions Pvt Ltd (MWTS).
• Customer: The individual or entity purchasing the water purifier.
• Product: The water purifier offered for sale by MWTS.

3. Product Information

MWTS provides detailed specifications and features of our water purifiers on our official website. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free.

4. Pricing and Payment

• Pricing: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change without prior notice.
• Payment: Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept [list of accepted payment methods].

5. Order Confirmation

Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation signifies our acceptance of your order.

6. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping: We offer shipping across India. Shipping charges, if applicable, will be specified at the time of purchase.
• Delivery Time: Estimated delivery times are provided at the time of purchase. While we strive to meet these estimates, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

7. Installation

First-time installation of home water purifiers by the company is free. If our technician is not available at your location, you may hire a local technician, and the company will reimburse the installation charges (up to Rs 500). This does not affect the product warranty.

8. Warranty

• Duration: Our water purifiers come with a one-year warranty, excluding consumable parts.
• Consumable Parts: A one-time 15-day manufacturing defect warranty is provided on consumable parts such as sediment filters, carbon filters, copper filters, UV barrels, membranes, and pre-filters.
• Electrical Parts: Components like booster pumps, SMPS, solenoid valves, and micro switches are covered under warranty. If any of these parts fail within one year, the company will replace them. Transportation charges will be shared between the company and the customer.

9. Maintenance and Service

• Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC): We offer an optional AMC that includes three periodical services within one year from the date of receipt. Any additional visits during the AMC period upon customer request are chargeable.
• Service Requests: For any service-related queries or to schedule maintenance, please contact our customer support team.

10. Returns and Refunds

• Order Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your order before it has been shipped, please contact our customer service team promptly.
• Returns: In case of defects or issues with the product, please notify us within [specified period] days of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund as per our return policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

MWTS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
