Enabling Measurable Water Impact
Turning water stewardship commitments into measurable, basin-level action.
MWTS–AquaPositive connects corporates with credible water-positive projects, bridging corporate funding and on-ground implementation to deliver measurable water impact.
As part of MWTS, we advance water stewardship through project development, strategic partnerships and basin-level action across India.
Our focus: Enabling positive water impact where it matters most — at the basin level.
Why MWTS–AquaPositive?
Water challenges extend beyond individual facilities. Sustainable water security requires collective action across river basins, watersheds, communities and ecosystems.
MWTS–AquaPositive helps bridge this gap by bringing together corporates, NGOs, implementation partners and water solution providers through a structured approach to project identification, development and funding.
We help corporates move beyond operational water efficiency to support meaningful interventions that improve water availability, enhance water quality, restore ecosystems and strengthen community water resilience.
What We Do
1. Connect Corporate Intent with On-Ground Impact
We connect corporates seeking to advance their water stewardship goals with relevant projects and implementation partners addressing real water challenges.
2. Identify and Structure Projects
We work with NGOs, local organisations and technical partners to identify promising interventions and structure them into well-defined projects with clear objectives, implementation plans and expected outcomes.
3. Enable Corporate Funding
We facilitate engagement between corporates and project implementers, helping align corporate sustainability priorities with suitable projects, funding requirements and implementation opportunities.
4. Support Measurement and Reporting
We emphasise measurable outcomes, transparent project documentation and impact assessment to support credible water stewardship initiatives and sustainability reporting.
5. Build Collaborative Partnerships
We bring together corporates, implementation partners, communities and technology providers to encourage collaborative action and scale solutions tailored to local water challenges.
How We Work
From Water Challenges to Water Impact
01. Identify the Need
Understand water challenges, basin priorities and the needs of communities and stakeholders.
02. Identify and Structure Projects
Engage with credible implementation partners to develop project concepts, define interventions, establish implementation plans and identify expected outcomes.
03. Connect with Corporate Partners
Match suitable projects with corporate water stewardship priorities and facilitate funding discussions.
04. Measure and Communicate Impact
Promote outcome measurement, project monitoring and transparent reporting to demonstrate progress and strengthen accountability.
Our approach aims to align corporate priorities with local needs, ensuring that water stewardship investments contribute to meaningful and lasting outcomes.
Our Marketplace
The Right Projects. The Right Partners. The Right Basins.
The AquaPositive marketplace provides a platform to connect corporate demand for water benefits with projects designed to address basin-level water challenges.
Through MWTS–AquaPositive, corporates can explore relevant project opportunities, while NGOs and implementation partners can bring their water initiatives forward for potential corporate engagement and support.
The marketplace helps create a more structured pathway from project identification and development to funding, implementation and impact measurement.
For Corporates
Identify water stewardship projects aligned with your operational footprint, value chain priorities and sustainability objectives.
For NGOs and Implementation Partners
Showcase water projects, strengthen project documentation and connect with potential corporate funding partners.
Our Approach to Credible Water Impact
Water impact must be relevant to the basin, measurable and designed for long-term benefit.
MWTS–AquaPositive promotes a project-led approach that considers local water challenges, expected outcomes, implementation feasibility and opportunities for monitoring and reporting. Where applicable, projects can be aligned with recognised water accounting and stewardship methodologies, including Volumetric Water Benefit Accounting (VWBA 2.0).
Our objective is to support transparent SBTi, evidence-based water stewardship and help corporates make informed decisions about their water-related investments.
